A few buddies and I, 3 of us to be exact, share a true enjoyment for Carly Rae Jepsen, this is not ironic. People think it is but trust us. Well we have a little group chat and a few months the name of the group chat name changed to “We Love Carly Rae Jepsen” In the vein of this, the conversation came up if we could go see her in concert. Well, shes on the back half of her So Nice tour, going through the UK and we decided to have a dudes night out and go to Alexandra Palace in North London and see her in the Final UK show, which we have been calling “Carly Con”.
While that is totally worth the trip on its own, I realized that there was a chance to make it a two-for-one trip. Wimbledon was playing a mid-week match the day before in Northampton, not super convenient but with a direct train about an hour North of London it worked out well enough and I was able to book game tickets and make it a lovely trip. (Hopefully we win)
